So as Monday evening rolled in, so did the snow. This not your usual April Utah storm, but right on the coat tails of last weeks powder bringings. This was something more. So much more in fact that the “town” or Snowbird and Alta was shut down on interlodge, which meant that you were not allowed outside if you were a guest of any hotel.
The road remained closed through Tuesday, and this is where our adventure begins at the gates Wednesday morning.
Since you weren’t allowed to wait on the side of the road, we, along with many others, were called to Church on a bluebird Wednesday morning. Until the time got a little later, and we started creeping..

Wolfpack Hustle crashed the LA Marathon by hosting an underground bike race on the closed marathon course at 4 am. A once a year opportunity to race 26 miles of Los Angeles with no traffic. This is the newest and third event in the Wolfpack series of underground street races. …
We were grateful to see our friends over at Outside Magazine graced one of the products that we designed and developed for Eddie Bauer’s First Ascent collection, into their Hall of Fame for 2010. Thanks guys, makes the extra effort worth it in the end for a superior product.

Wishing Dave Hahn, Melissa Arnot, Chad Peele, and the rest of the First Ascent climbing crew a most safe and successful journey up to Everest, as they embark on their trip to Base camp tomorrow. All the best guys, and looking forward to all the blog casts!
